Richard E. VanDeusen born September 19, 1931 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, went home to be with the Lord on September 30, 2017 where he resided in Lilburn, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert VanDeusen and Marvel Hall Forbes, brothers; Robert VanDeusen and Kenneth VanDeusen, sisters; Donna Johnson, Kate Fosse, and Ruth Dodd, and nephew; Kenny VanDeusen, and wife Helen.
He is survived by his wife Ann VanDeusen, children; Deborah Aurelio (Kevin), Dale VanDeusen (Pam), Laurie Lightner, Betty Held (John), Dean VanDeusen (Kimberly), Becky Hart (Jerry), eighteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren. Richard...

Richard E. VanDeusen born September 19, 1931 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, went home to be with the Lord on September 30, 2017 where he resided in Lilburn, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert VanDeusen and Marvel Hall Forbes, brothers; Robert VanDeusen and Kenneth VanDeusen, sisters; Donna Johnson, Kate Fosse, and Ruth Dodd, and nephew; Kenny VanDeusen, and wife Helen.
He is survived by his wife Ann VanDeusen, children; Deborah Aurelio (Kevin), Dale VanDeusen (Pam), Laurie Lightner, Betty Held (John), Dean VanDeusen (Kimberly), Becky Hart (Jerry), eighteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren. Richard also leaves to cherish his memory, Doug and Kathy Lyle, Kathy and Mike Hunter, Richard Lyle, Ronnie Lyle, Les and Trish Lyle, and David Lyle, and their families whom all considered him a father figure, giving him and additional nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren, brothers; George VanDeusen and Loren Forbes, sisters; Ann Johnson, Shirley Husted (Roger), Cheryl Hilke, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Richard worked at Unocal for forty years. He enjoyed many years of retirement by singing with Sunshine Express, taking trips to visit friends and family and exploring parts of the country that he found fascinating and always loved a good laugh.
He was a faithful member at Trinity Lutheran Church.
