Florence M. Hay, 98 went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 4, 2017 at her residence in Snellville, GA after her courageous battle with cancer. Florence was preceded in death by her loving husband Ralph Hay and her longtime friend Carl Meyer.

Visitation will be held on September 16, 2017 at 2pm at Eternal Hills Funeral Home in Snellville Georgia. With the service following immediately after at 3pm. Rev. Thomas Jordan will be officiating.

Florence M. Hay, 98 went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 4, 2017 at her residence in Snellville, GA after her courageous battle with cancer. Florence was preceded in death by her loving husband Ralph Hay and her longtime friend Carl Meyer.

Florence's parents, Harry Taylor Granger & Edith Anne Davis-Granger, migrated to the United States from London, Somerset County, England. Florence was born in Oconee, GA. Florence was also preceded in death by 3 brothers Eric Granger, Leonard Granger and Johnny Granger.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Harry L. McDowell (Katie) of Kimberling City, MO and Douglas L. McDowell (Deceased, Jo Ann) of Sumter, SC.

Grandchildren: Terry McDowell (Lynne) of Lakewood, CO, Tammie McDowell-Thompson (Greg) of Lizella GA, Randy McDowell (Lynda) of Snellville GA, Scott McDowell, (Sheri) of Sumter SC.

Florence had 10 great grandchildren. She also has several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A special mention to Florence's caregiver, Tricia Rawlins. We all can't thank you enough for all you did to help our family.
